This past Sunday, the PGA tour’s Wyndham Championship came to a close with two players tied for the lead. 23 year-old Patrick Reed was to face off against the 20 year-old Jordan Spieth in a sudden-death playoff, with the first player to win a hole winning the tournament. Reed, a relatively unknown player on tour, now had the chance of a lifetime to win for the first time on tour. All of this alongside his wife and caddie, Justine. After tying the first playoff hole, Reed drove his ball way right into the trees. With his competitor already on the green in two, Reed was looking at a nearly impossible shot through the trees and his hopes of winning his first ever PGA tour event were all but gone. However, Reed stepped up to the ball and hit what was possibly the best shot of his life. The ball sailed under one tree, and in between a few others, only to come to rest just 7 feet from the pin. After Spieth missed his birdie putt, Reed would go on to sink his 7 footer and change his life in an instant.
