The Streets of Irwin Come Alive with Local & Nationally Celebrated Jazz Performers
For the past nine summers, music has filled the streets of Downtown Irwin with the Annual Music in the Streets, previously known as Art & Jazz Nites. This family-friendly musical event kicks-off on Thursday, June 21 at 5 PM, with encore events following on July 19 and August 16.
Presented by Irwin Business and Professional Association (IBPA) and Duncan Financial Group, Music in the Streets is one of the largest, family-friendly musical events in the region. Thousands of people from all over the Greater Pittsburgh area attend this top-notch event to listen to the musical stylings of some of the best local and national artists as they perform at various indoor and outdoor music venues throughout historical Downtown Irwin.
At this year’s event, Attendees will experience performances by some of the best local and national artists, including Irwin native and American Idol superstar Aubrey Burchell, Antonio Croes, Craig Davis Jazz, Thom Book, Gail Macioce, Judi Figel, I Am Music, Eric Barchiesi, and many more!
In addition to exceptional music, the tradition of the Downtown Iriwn “Shop Crawl” returns. Event-goers will have the opportunity to visit the charming and unique store that line Main Street and search for clues that could help them win great prizes from local business, including a Grand Prize drawing in August of four tickets to a regular season Pittsburgh Penguins game.
The event is free, with musical groups entertaining at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues throughout Downtown Irwin. Music in the Streets provides a laid-back and inviting atmosphere, creating a unique summertime event for everyone.
**Music in the Streets is sure to be a unique summertime event for all ages. Come rain or shine, the show will go on.**
